Hello you, remaining readers of my lonely blog!

Since you're here, give it a good read. Hope that isn't too much too ask... Anyway, there isn't much to read. This post is worth over a hundred coloured pictures of different qualities, mostly taken by moi. Read the captions and most importantly, i hope you enjoy my photo collection from Genting!

P/s - it was a Gamble-Trip arranged by the gamblers of my family. I tagged along for the cool air (NOT the same as the fake cool air from the office's air-con.) and ended up being the baby sitter. Being in Genting for 5 days is not fun... as you should have guessed. But i really do enjoy the "intensive family bonding", and the real cool air!

Low lights of the trip have to be the time spent waiting for the big group to gather before heading for a meal, hungry and angry, worst combination.

Highlights of the trip was meeting Justin at the theme park and getting lost in the fog.

Got to do what i got to do. Will be taking lotsa pictures of beautiful Bali, it's my first time going there! EXCITED!!!!! And i will be taking lotsa pictures of my office people to show you, it's my first time in a company retreat! EXCITED!!!!!

I'm sure all the bloggers out here have looked through the key words people used to reach their page.

Of course, there's always something porn related. But...

In my list there's "down syndrome retard".

This is damn depressing... Do you get this kinda depressing combination of search words too?

"Retarded" means "slow", a down syndrome person is matter of fact-ly retarded. That i can understand.

Thing that i cannot understand is...

What are those retards behind their computers looking for? Information of down syndrome? Of course not!

If they are searching for retarded silly pictures etc. - it's fine! I know how a retarded silly picture can totally make our days since its mostly funny. Or sometimes illustrates our point since we all have retarded people in our lives.

But down syndrome is real, it is unfortunate, it is a disease!

It is not funny.

Seriously, i can't grasp idea of searching "retarded" together with "down syndrome". Who would do that?

I have no idea how "down syndrome retard" is related to my blog. But i hope the next retard who use this combination of search words to get here would read this, and please, learn that down syndrome is not a fucking joke.

Joi invited me to a sponsored Bobby Brown workshop. =]

As usual, we were late.

Our cab ride:

The surprise was that many other bloggers were later than late!
We had so much time to slack off before the workshop starts.
To me the beautician mirror was like the most fascinating thing in the room, see how many pictures i took with it... -.-

*I had thoughtfully deleted many of them.*

Then the workshop starts:
We had to remove ALL our make up, including base make up!
*faints*
And being of sensitive skin type, it was madness.
*sting**sting**sting*
*itch*
*rash*
That just goes to mean that Bobby Brown's skin care range is not suitable for me, that's unfortunate.
BUT their make up was superrrr!Their foundation is of my EXACT skin colour!!!Joi found her exact match too.
Hmmm... maybe that's where i should spend my next pay cheque on, Bobby Brown's foundation.

So we had the chance to try out 2 vastly different look!

I looked like i was wearing a mask cos my skin was red from rashes from the make up remover etc.
And it is sad that i couldnt take a nicer picture with my red lips cos i was one of the slooooowest. I had to quickly snap a shot and move on to look 2!
Wasted, i hardly have my lips so beautifully siren red!!
You must be thinking that i can easily buy red lipstick and replicate the look at home...
BUT NO!?
I made a mess on my lips, the make up artist did it nicely for me. =/

Hello everybuddy!

I had a good alcohol-free long weekend, you?

Went to IKEA on Deepavali:

That's 3 generations of us in a car!

It was sooooooo damn crowded!
I ordered coffee for Papa and Tea for Grandma.So Pa was asking Grandma to try the coffee...
She refused, saying she wouldn't be able to sleep.
After combing the Market Hall, Grandma was soooooo exhausted.
(We were in the cargo lift to the car park.)
So i said she shouldnt have refused the coffee cos she seems like she'd fall asleep if you give her a couch.
Grandma said,
" 现在我站着都可以睡 ! "
Lol, i think my Grandma is damn cute.

Spend my Deepavali night dealing with 350 SGD worth of stuff from IKEA.
I am one of those idiots who need to use new stuff ASAP,Papa terms it as 贪新鲜, lol.

That's the kind of mood i'm in now!

Happens every Monday morning... which is kinda weird. But anyway, i've hit 50% of my daily target, its not even lunch time yet! Of course i deserve to blog - and do what ever i like - as long as i like! =]

Single people always try to define Love...

Or is it just me?

Or maybe EVERYONE tries, but doesn't speak their thoughts.

Anyway, i came across something...

It says love is:

Lust
Attraction
Attachment
Obsession

I never really knew love. The closest i had ever came to it is that feeling i have for my BB dog. Or maybe the feeling i guess my father has for me, vice-versa.

But now, to think of it. I suspect what i thought was love, wasn't. Because there's commitment involved. What i thought was love was in fact - more than love.

Love is indeed a cocktail of lust, attraction, attachment and obsession... i agree!

That'll make Love very logical.

I used to wonder why some people claim to love - but act otherwise. When i say "otherwise" i meant actions like cheating, neglecting, abusing etc...

So now i'm suddenly enlightened. When you love chocolate, it doesn't mean you can't love cheesecake when there's no chocolate in sight (cheating). When you love chocolate, doesn't mean you can't find no time to savor it (neglecting). When you love chocolate, doesn't mean you can't bin it when you feel it has expired, doesn't mean you can't break it violently in a fit of anger (abuse).

Love is exactly like infatuation.

Love is exactly like a crush.

It's FRIDAY!!!

Work had been kinda hard this week... Glad it's Friday!

Randomly, finding a weekend job is so not easy. Sickening... I give up. I'm gonna work out a serious saving plan and make a holiday possible!

My chronic wanderlust is taking its toll on me. Perhaps that's why work feels so damn hard this week. Guess it'll be the same for the next week, and the next next... TILL I GET MY HOLIDAY! =] Aiming to flyaway this coming April Fool's. Lol.

I have a few destinations in mind:

Perth because it's gonna be nice and cool, and it's a comfortable suburban place. And also, everyone speaks English. But it's expensive la.

Taiwan, no idea where exactly. Taipei? Plus point being everyone speaks Chinese, and there's where you get the yummiest street snacks eh!

Hong Kong, i think its cheap with good food and shopping. But freak, my Cantonese cannot make it!

Boracay because i think it's cool - i didn't even know of its existence until recently! Its a beachy and sun setty place...

Or maybe there's no such thing as "not supposed to", my mind is mine, it's my freedom to think of anything... right? Even if my thought is as sick as a gruesome murder, it should be okay, right?

But i sometimes find it an act of self-destruction... that's not very nice. And it's also depressing to realize that what truly makes me smile is destroying me at the same time.

Hmmm... HOWEVER, i always believe that if you want to be happy, you got to start acting like you're happy. If you carry out the act for long enough, it becomes natural. It becomes true, it becomes real.

Rushed down to wavehouse after Den's birthday BBQ! (It was a damn happening weekend.)

Everyone else went to the Universal Studio while i went to Escape theme park! Eh, still, no complaints.

Anyway, Wavehouse was so boring and the ratio of ~~sexy~~ slutty girls there totally upped my level of "inferiority-complex".

BUT that night was so great with booze and poker cards at super-chic Hard Rock Hotel!!

Randomly, i think my job is blah, but i so love working at where im working at! Fun coworkers like these and a great boss makes the office feels like a second home. Wonderful. =]

It was my mei-mei, Angela's birthday.

And if i didn't remember wrongly, it was the FIRST time i thoughtfully celebrated her birthday. Hmmm... growing up really makes lotsa difference. She used to be such an irritating child when she was young! I was always busy with school, friends and other issues ("love", lol) a few years back. Now that i'm at this stage of life (and that Angela is not irritating like she used to be), i know blood is thicker than water like i never did.

Since that, i figured its my responsibity to my make her 15th birthday a happy one. That poor girl had spasmic menstrual cramps and stained her uniform on her birthday, and her teenage boyfriend was "under performing". Tsk!

So anyway, my present for her was a $100 budget sponsored shopping trip. Hope she liked it! =]

She said my imitation of "yao-yao" was wrong, and ^this^ is the right way to do it!Yea man! Lol!

August 23 -
Den invited us (PPH sans Hannah) to stay over at her chalet night before her birthday celebration BBQ. We had "fun" blowing up balloons and eating marsh mallows (and of course we had so much to talk about, girls) and slept like sardines, literally. Woke up early the next day and went to Escape theme park, it sucks, thankfully it was FOC. Came back and dressed up according to the birthday theme - hippie gypsy bohemian... Have no idea how the birthday girl came up with that theme. All of us ended up looking so different! Dressing up with girl friends has gotta be one of the best fun. =]
P/s - I'm damn good at Go Kart. Viking was extremely average but screaming our lungs out was extremely fun, sure Esther agrees.

HELLO ALL YOU BLOG READING PEOPLE!!! =]

It's been quite long since i really, really blog, huh? Posting a long chain of pictures ain't "blogging". Talking random rubbish like this, is!

Well, at least in my definition.

I tend to stay in the office till way late to use the mega huge monitor/desktop that i have there. Pretty much like how i tend to not pay attention during lecture and stay back to study in school after lessons - i tend to slack of during work hours, and work intensively after work hours.

Actually, even if i try to work intensively during work hours - my effort doesnt pay off. Very much like even when i attend lectures - i still got to study on my own after lesson or i'll learn nothing.

Hur hur hur...

So anyway, due to the above mentioned "phenomena" i have no time to update my blog. It feels mega weird to be blogging on such a huge monitor screen, it's like the WHOLE WORLD CAN SEE. Not as if my blog ain't public... but it seriously feels weird! And also, its very paiseh if someone see me rephrase a sentence umpteen times!

Before i put up another entry, guess i should reply to your comments. Good ~~and bad~~ that there's very few of them.

Another Anonymous, I photo-enhanced all my pictures, but not using photoshop. The excessively glowing skin has nothing to do with the photo editing... its most probably due to the camera OR THE OIL AND SWEAT ON OUR FACES! Haha! Don't like also bo bian!

MET UP WITH RACHEL BTL LAST WEEK.

We had zam zam for dinner, it's not nice anymore. But the hanging out was great, i love my best friend. ^^

Recently learned that two of my friends are coincidentally reading this book that i've been reading for months. (I'm very slow with my reading, lol.) Made me feel a need to recommend it to someone.

Good stuff are meant to be shared, right?

Anyway, it's The Power of Now, by Eckhart Tolle.

This book is somewhat "philosophical". It talks about attaining spiritual enlightenment and/or "finding God".
But nevermind about enlightenment, since it's so faraway... I like this book and i think you should read it too because it gave me inspiration to see life from a new aspect, to see life as a big picture.

The Power of Now introduces many concepts which i find very applicable to living a life where you actually breathe easy. Most people these days don't breathe easy. We're not really suffocating but each breath feels so laborious at times. Don't you agree?

Anyway, some of the concepts that inspired me are...

The idea of Surrender and Acceptance -

I had been a ridiculously logical person for most of my life thus far. I thought i'm strong, and strong is all i allowed myself to be. I used to be very 'paiseh' when i feel depressed and i'll do all i can do keep my eyes free of tears. I thought it's so miserable to be sad, it's pathetic. And i never allowed myself to be that way. I'd use all my might to stay strong, includes channeling my energy to hatered. I hated everyone who hurt me. And i'll hate anyone who even tries. This explains my angry personality and also my love for gore and destruction... oh well, very psycho.

But in actual, guess i'll i had been doing was not to "stay strong". It was more like acting strong, treating me like my puppet.

But i've learn that sadness is but an emotion - there's no need to cease it and that i should just go with the flow and be sad. Not that i will go ahead and throw a melodramatic performance... but that i should just surrender to the fact that i am human afterall. Surrender to the sadness i feel when certain things goes wrong and accept that sometimes it hurts. Instead of fighting the misery, i learned that the right way is to surrender and accept it. Instead of questioning why certain things goes wrong, i surrender and accept it as a fact - shit happens.

The idea of Impermanence -

Nothing in life is permanent. No matter how much you like a certain thing, a certain somebody, a certain way if living etc... you can't hold on to it. Trying to resist changes is like banging your head into the wall - painful.

To better illustrate how i feel, let me show you an example...

I love XXX coffee and having a cup of XXX coffee everyday is like the biggest joy of my life.

But when i consider the idea of impermanence, i am aware that one day i might not get my XXX coffee. (Maybe when there's a case of poisoning within the company that produce XXX coffee or something? Maybe when XXX coffee tries to cut cost and becomes not as nice as before? )

See...? Now i know that XXX coffee will not be there for me everyday.

And with that, i cherish my XXX coffee even more. And when it's not there, i'll just shrug my shoulders and say "i knew it"...

Anyway, if you realize, i wasn't just talking about coffee! It's applicable for everything. The gist is that nothing lasts forever!!

I'm suddenly lost for words.

Aiyah, just go read the book. Buy it or borrow it from the library!

I'm going through a skin drought.

I'm like a shedding snake now, oh no... It feels so bad that i took a day off work.

Work have been easy, but it makes life so routinely hectic. And i don't like that! Think i really belong to the country side - maybe one with internet connection. But haiyah, what's my main point?

I sometimes talk so much, till i don't know what's my main point.

Oh, guess it's that i must really put in more effort to keep my life balanced with work and me-times. Because its such a torture to be shedding!!! I'm just glad that i'm not constipated and/or sick at the same time!

Me-times are important. It's the time when you focus on yourself.

Realize your nails have overgrown and cut your nails and repaint it with a new coat of colour.
Realize there's a layer of dead skin on the insides of your calves and go scrub yourself for a good 30 minutes.
Realize you're dehydrating and go reload on moisture.
Realize you're getting fat and get moving.
And so forth...

I truly believe that good health is the best investment that one can ever make. There was a phase where i made sure i ate fruits everyday, lay off alcohol and slept so much. I felt so good at then, must remake that goodness.

And how this is relevant is that i think my skin is drying out because i havent been eating enough oils and fruits (vitamins).

P/s - my sister also told someone that i have a habit to break down whatever i eat into its nutrition value. And eat the nutrients instead of the food itself. Like instead of having a "Big Breakfast", i had "oils, protein and carbohydrates, lacking water soluble vitamins thus must make up for that during lunch time"...

Oh my, although it's true that i am that way... It's feels so eeks to imagine someone looking at me from that point of view, it's like im such a weird freak through someone elses' eyes. =s

Anyway, hey everyone! You should give yourself more me-times too! Because good health is really the best investment you can ever make! =]

My sister explained to someone that i don't smoke because i'm prone to addiction.

I know and it's true. But it's more true when someone else says it.

I'm already addicted to coffee and the smell of my BB dog, and that itself is a big fat inconvenience! Well, if what you're addicted to ain't poison, it's but an inconvenience. What if it is poison that you're addicted to?

It calls for a "kill me please".

And coincidentally, everyone on my Facebook is "addicted". When i say everyone, i was exaggerating. When they say "addicted", they meant being "addicted" to someone.

And ouch, i unfortunately can relate to it too well.

I really wonder why can't we just like someone, and not be "addicted".

Infatuations are like an addiction of the poisonous variety.

You're happy when you get a piece of that whoever someone, and you want more. When you fail to get some, you're depressed. Like a withdrawal effect, you just can't smile. When it gets serious you start sulking and crying and self destructive questions keep popping themselves in your mind...

This isn't much of a trouble when i was schooling since i could always choose to study through the night.

My blog DIED, i know!

I've been very busy with myself lately so...

Val, Bintan Part 2 is about ready, i just can't post it because my lap top have been very naughty, it shuts down whenever i try to blog... I'm not even joking loh!

And to Val, again, I realize my hairy thigh in the previous post. HOW CAN I MISS THAT!? But yea... I don't really mind people calling me "hairy thigh"... Maybe i should post a picture of my hairy neck and hairy back too..?

Anyway, I'm at work now. The monitor of my desktop at work is so huge, its a pity i can't blog my pictures here. Haha! See, this is what im thinking while at work. I'm bored of my work already! BUT i shall not quit as "work" can't get any easier... I'm wearing slippers and Carole's "Team Floorball" tee-shirt to work today, eat that!

Having said that... this huge ass monitor is probably the reason to the death of my blog. Blogging from my dying laptop is like ZZZ!

Oh, i've decided to blog rubbish whenever i'm ~~bored at work~~ taking a break from work. This is probably better than stalking my friends' Facebook", right?

Suicidal people on Facebook seriously spoils my day... talking to ~~you~~ myself on blogger doesn't. =]

Randomly, the most acute thought i had this morning is that i'm "re-evaluating" my favorite colour. It used to be green. But now i think it's red. This is soooooo silly, as if it even qualifies as an issue to waste brain cells about.

My trouble is that, if i can only choose one colour to stare at for the rest of my life, it'll be a combination of many shades of green. But i like wearing red and buying red stuff! My head band is huge, and red. This tee-shirt im wearing is red. My slippers are pink, which is red at the same time, just a very light shade...?!?!!

In this short period of time that i haven't been blogging, i had fallen for someone.

But at the flick of a switch, i have withdrawn my affection for him, completely.

I've seen myself go through extremes time and again, it's becoming a pattern. I really wish to get out of this sick cycle, but till now, i have no idea how.

I guess no-love is not logical, just like love is?

I think my feet is abnormal. My toes are too "thick"... if you get what i mean. It hurts to wear girly covered shoes!

After 12 hours of standing at my job, in those bad shoes, all i felt like doing was to whine non-stop!

So glad that Gina and Sabre Tooth was in town, met them after work so i had someone to whine to.

I'm listening to Jason Mraz's Prettiest Friend as i blog, just to share with you...

I'm updating so often now, and becoming increasingly random.

So random that i find it very difficult to title my entries. This could have been called "random throw-ins of pictures taken these two days"... no good huh?

Daiso is my other favorite place, after Watson's. But they are not quite the same. There's always something to buy in Watson's - but not in Daiso... I STILL ALWAYS END UP BUYING THINGS ANYWAY.

That hardly make sense... Hmmm...

What happens is that, i'll go in with a shopping basket and aimlessly walk around the ailse looking at the messy display racks. It's fun to shop at Daiso because the Japanese are very boliao - they make boliao stuff which they think makes life better for the general public, but sometimes the useful inventions are really more lame then anything.

Will show you what i mean when my sister uploads the pictures.

And the Japanese are damn joker with their English labels! I love reading all their labels, always stupid.

Eg.

I call it head band.

(You too, right? Or maybe hair band?)

Daiso calls it:

TURBAN!

This then is turban mah! Lol!!!

It's so hilarious that they called a head band... turban! Joi (my sister, aka honeybakedham) insisted that i was racist for thinking it's funny. Really meh?

The thought of it is STILL funny, now, 24 hours later. LOL!

Anyway, i was saying. There's no real need for Daiso stuff. But you'll still always buy something - because you'll naturally have this just-buy-lah attitude once you step in Daiso.

I was given a surprise day off work, again!

I think i'm becoming a real woman. You know how they say "woman insinct" are always accurate? My instinct had been highly inaccurate for the past 20 years of my life. I always mistake insincere hypocrites for genuine nice people. (Thankfully, i'm at the same time too cool-cucumber to be bothered) BUT recently my instinct have been amazingly right!!!

I'm a lil shocked by the accuracy of my gut feelings!

The other day i went to meet up with my poly girlfriends at marina square... And i had a sudden thought that maybe i should ask BC (poly friend, who's not within our "girl clique", but nonetheless still a close friend) if he wants to join us (in case he was somewhere near). Turned out that he went to the IT show earlier on and was at marina square too!!!

And today, while making my morning coffee, preparing to go to work at the telemarketing office. I had a sudden thought that they might prefer me to not work. It was absolutely random. So i called my boss, and my boss asked me to call my supervisor, and my supervisor told me that i didn't have to work today!!!!

Some parents are too busy to take care of their children, but they are very rich. So they give their kids lots of money to spend. Their love comes in form of money and credit cards. Not bad, i think.

Papa isn't one of those 'very rich'.

I know Papa is loving me when he stocks the fridge and kitchen cabinets with food stuff! It really seems like we're preparing for World War 3 (or Malay/Indone-sian attack, lol) every time he does the groceries.

Maybe that's why i'm so chubby, maybe only huh.

I think Papa is treating me like a plant.

Cause if you love your bonsai etc. you'll water it, Sun it and feed it fertilizer pallets. Like, so simple. Haha!

Btw, Father's Day is coming!!!

Headache ah, buying stuff for man is like damn difficult. All my past attempts had been quite a failure... Bought him an electronic beard shaver last year (or the year before, or the year before-before...), and he still has not use it. When i asked him why, he said "haven't charge mah". Zzz! Bet he hasn't even open the box!!!

Only gifts that i think he quite appreciate are the $2 Daiso boxers that i bought for him, lol.

Polo tee-shirts failed too, because i got those without breast pockets - which is "wrong". How difficult, right!

I spent one whole day in town!!!

It's been soooooo long since i get to do that. The last time was 1 year ago, when i was still in school.

Otw to meet a friend for job briefing in the morning...

Say "NO" to seat belts!!

Not because im defiant or what. Belting yourself to the seat just spoils the "cabbing experience". Since i had to pay so much for the transport, why should i be so uncomfortably strapped down, right?

Oh, that cab ride was terrible. I had ham and cheese sandwich in the morning. And the traffic was bad. The cab driver kept alternating between his brake and acceleration, like every 2 seconds. ZZZ! Felt like puking and screaming at that cab driver, seriously!

But i wouldn't know what to say...

"Uncle, can you please stop alternating-between-your-brake-and-acceleration?!!!"

... That's like such a mouth full.

Lunch after briefing...

I looked very happy because i thought it was funny that i got sour cream outside my lips. NOT because the food was great. It was my first time at Marche, so dissapointed with their very-average lasagne!!!

But swiss rosti and calamari juice was really quite nice, must give credit. =]

I nearly went to watch a movie alone after lunch...

It's such a challenge to go to the box office and say

"Give me 1 tickets to Insert-Movie-Title, please."

Really take my hat off to people who watch movie alone. They just watch whatever movie they like, whenever and whereever they like, not even bothered that they may look like a loner with no friend!

Watching movie alone is SO cool.

But as i said, nearly... Means i succumbed to being too paiseh to watch a movie alone, and asked someone. =x Had to inconveniently wait for Angela (my youngest sister) to come over. I'm so not cool enough.

Luckily, there was a book fair! Spent so much time there! I love messy book fairs!

Music CD and DVD fairs too actually. But i hate fairs that sell clothes, especially the messy dusty ones. Clothes should be showcased neatly in a nice shop with a spacious changing room.

Spent about 1 hour looking through everything, and bought only 2 books. I'm very broke. =c

Books are food for thought.

Very broke still want to buy books...? Yea, whatever. My spending habits are so screwed that i don't want to assess them, yet.

Went to watch Mightmare on Elm Street - which i find was quite a disappointment. I was hoping for it to be a lil more profound... Like, maybe Freddie was actually a good man.

BUT still, i was tricked into screaming out loud so many times!!! Zzz!

I'm such a loser when it comes to thriller-horror movies.Guess it's cos my brain goes into some kind of half-shut mode when i watch a movie. I take in the scenes, but not think about what's gonna happen after. So, it doesn't matter how predictable it is... i'm always shocked and still scared when i see the ghost etc.

Reluctantly went window shopping...

What i thought was the cheapest yummiest dinner (that you can find in town)...

Iced teh-o was $2 thanks to World Cup!!! $2!!!

$1.70 seemed okay, 30c more makes it feels so ridiculous! Is it just me?

And caught A-Team with Haikal after dinner. He thought it was "predictable", but me being me - i thought it was great! Especially the parts about fear of flights, hahaha!!!

It was damn tiring to stay out in town for one whole day la, doubt i'd ever one to do it again. Have i aged? The max amount of time i can stay out is about 9 hours only.

Think i'm just growing to become increasingly homely, hmmm.

So i've decided to document all these Watson's buy in my blog, in a "label folder"... Guardian, Sasa, Unity etc. shall all be under this same category!

Just how much do i ~~waste~~ spend on "personal care", seriously... ZZZ! *Bueh-tahan myself moment*

Oral-B - cross action tooth brushes ($10)

Mentholatum - Acnes Point Clear ($10)

Nivea - Lip Care Strawberry ($5)

Sucky! I don't even remember how much I've spent on each item!!! Those are my very "rough" estimation.

Btw, those are THE BEST TOOTH BRUSH. I'm very particular about moi teeth cos i think they are my best asset (although my mid line is very shifted, even not-so-close friends noticed. Silas, bloody you!)... You can tell by how much i like showing my teeth when taking pictures. Haha!

Random example:

Back to the "topic"... Not the whitest teeth you can find, and since its straight it isn't really that hard to take care of my teeth - so i'm not a good example. But whatever, the cross-actioness of those tooth brush really makes it more shiok to brush your teeth - you actually feel the brushing. Exactly like in their TV advertisements!

Another "teeth care tip" for you: drink coloured beverages with a straw as much as you can if not All. The. Time.! Friends always roll their eyes when i say this (WILL YOU STOP THE EYE-ROLLING? DAMN!)...

But c'mon, it's logical. Using straw will allow you to drink the staining things that you like - bypassing your front teeth. That's the whole main point, i don't mind if my molars are highlighter yellow. Lol! Maybe not highlighter, in case it "shines through" my cheeks.

And i think i can justify my "tip" cause i drink so much coffee. Pale yellow teeth for everyday-coffee coffee drinkers, i deserve some kudos already loh! Randomly, btw, coffee beans iced black coffee is good!

Oh, and the mentholatum thingy is really good in a way that it's like CLEAR LIQUID. Yes, like distilled water! And it evaporates/gets absorbed into the skin leaving absolutely no residue. I used about 3 layers on my fucked up pimples already - it feels like i applied nothing at all... BUT that aside - it'll be great if its "anti pimple properties" actually functions, it'll be really like water if it doesn't. And i can't talk much about it cos i just used it for the first time. Unfortunately, no miracles. Pimples are still there.

That Nivea lip balm is fair enough - a functional lip balm, gladly non-sticky and smells like nice strawberry jam. But my matt lipstick becomes shiny even after i tried to "pile on" (...in vain. You can't pile on the lip stick cos your lips becomes too "slippery"). No good if you want to wear it under lip stick!

That day:

Za True White - essence mask ($30)

Cleansing Express - cleansing gel ($10) 

Let's just say i love both items.

The Za mask fetches quite a good review online... and i think i works? One good thing for sure is that it has huge "eye flaps", you can cover it over your eye lids (does anyone give damn to moisturize your upper eye lids? I don't, lol. But guess you can do it with this mask once in awhile...) OR, you can cut it out with a scissors and use the huge flaps for your need-help areas, that's what i do!

And the cleansing gel is absolutely non-oily after you rinse it off with water, really don't need to wash your face with your usual cleanser. I've "tested" it with toner - no trace of make up or crap on my cotton pad.

SEE? I even talk a lot when it comes to Watson's stuff. Watson's's like taking over my life. HAHA!

I always have this weird feeling about facebook's photos.

Alright, it's less of a feeling, more like a "worry".

I can't decide if tagging myself in pictures uploaded by my friends is enough to keep the photo in my "photos of me" album... or should i actually save the pictures that i like and post them again. But then there'll cause a repeat, right?

Or should i actually save the pictures, and untag myself? But people (like maybe his/her friend) looking at that album won't know i'm me in that picture cos i untagged. Not that that's an important issue tho...

The important issue is that... if i don't save the pictures that i like, what if my friend suddenly decided to delete that album?? Then the pictures with be gone forever!!

So anyway, i saved some pictures off my photos-of-me album and did some digital editing! Photo editing has to be one of my favorite past time, i find it therapeutic! Lol! And it's one of the most convenient artistic outlet. =]

Hello Everybody!!!

Haven't been blogging since my previous ulcer (sure you remember, that gross helmet-induced ulcer).

I've been gravely sickkk!!! To be more specific, i have never been more sick my life! And i really really really do not wish to fall sick again...

Absolutely HATE that pharmaceutic smell in my nose, taste in my mouth. It's like you had so much medicine that it flows in your blood (that's a fact actually) and kinda goes to your mucus and saliva. No matter how much water you drink or as-tasty-as-possible-sick-people-food you eat... the taste is still there!

Eeeks.

Seems like my effort to eat lotsa fruits, drink lotsa water and sleep well isn't enough.

Okay, i obviously need to start exercising. "Exercising" is like the toughest component of a healthy lifestyle la! To me it is, i'm such a Pillow. (<- can't think of a better word.)

I was feverishly bed ridden for FIVE days... Really worried, thought i might have contracted some novel mutant influenza virus and be sent to the hospital and maybe appear in the news if i die from it.

Of course i'm not dead yet! (Imagine if i am, and my blog still keeps getting updated... freeeeeaaky.)

I'm addicted to this! It kinda gives me strength when i read about other's misfortune! So screwed (so true,ahh..). I know there's some others like GMH (give me hope) and MLIA (my life is average)... but i don't read them. Reading that many other people in the world is fucking their lives already gives me hope and makes me think that my life is average, not bad. =]

I used my google tool bar very often, just because it's THERE, like so convenient! Googled "dee snider", Xiaxue says he's super ugly... Not so ugly imo. But saying Sarah Jessica Parker looks like him, oh God, sad for her! I like Sarah Jessica Parker, shes not very pretty but definitely very cool, and how old is she already? I like classy older women who looks young for their age. However, she's not my favorite, my favorite is Michelle Yeo.

I went to work at the telemarketing office as usual...

As usual, it sucks to wake up in the morning.
I ended up being late for work.
I had to cab to work.
And was still late.
Bought coffee-egg-crossaint combo anyway - health is more important than punctuality, imo.

Everything was "as usual"... other than my fucking ulcer.

Definitely more painful than your average ulcer!

Because:

1. I got it not from being "heaty", but from hitting my lips with a helmet

(very pro, i know)

2. I talk more than average people, self explanatory huh.

I half-jokingly asked my boss if it can be considered as a valid reason to take a day off work. He said "yes"! He's a nice man. =]

But before i could even leave my work place... I received a call.

That women was speaking with a funny accent. So i was like,

"Hello? You're obviously Gina."

And she was like,

*STUNNED*

"Calling from XXX research laboratory... we've seen your resume."

You can imagine how paiseh... zzz! So anyway,

I WAS INVITED TO GO DOWN FOR AN INTERVIEW ASAP!!!

P/s - If you're wondering why do i sound so "hysterical"... Read below.

That's the lab that i'd-really-love-to-work-at! It's like the most fundamental part of my 3-Year Plan. You don't know what's my 3-Year Plan, yet. Haha!

Anyway, it's a reasonable full time job. Getting a job is in itself life changing already, so i shall not explain to you my 3-Year Plan today. Okay, i'll do it in the next entry.

I told that person i was already outside, and if there's a dress code to the interview... she said it doesn't matter. Great.

But i was seriously lok-kok so i went home to change anyway! Ho ho! And i already got the day off! (for my ulcer, lol.)

Still unfit for interview.

But at least not lok-kok, right?

As soon as i have money, i'll stock up on my "professional" clothes. It's on my to-do list!

Now i have none, obviously. =s

And i actually went to trim my fucking eye brows before the interview!

That's how much I want the job lo, just didnt have time to prepare "professional" outfit "ASAP" maaaa..

Due to too much photoediting, you can't see our dessert. Our durian glutinious rice roll is totally gone in the flash!

But it was sooooo yummy!

I came home and sat in front of my dressing table, then i realize just how too-thin my eyebrows were!!!

I went to the shop, and before i could explain how i want my brows to be... That aunty said, "is it like last time"? I was quite happy that she remembers me.

BUT NEH NEH! She must have thought im Joi. My usual brows aint SO TOO THIN!!! @#%#%$

I spent about 1 hour in front of the mirror learning to appreciate my new too thin brows.

IT. DID. NOT. WORK.

It feels like a lacy dress - might be pretty, but i don't want to wear it. It's like so gay!

The best i can feel about it now is that, "alright, you're civilised and demure looking". But the next second it screams *hypocritic fucker*. Like identity crisis.

Bueh tahan my new eyebrows aaaaaah...

I filled it in with A LOT of Maybeline Eyebrow Powder (<- must say it this way cos its one of my favorite cosmetic product. Bodyshop's eyebrow powder is fucked up.)

And tried to smile...

This is the max amount of powder my brows can hold.

Pathetic...

On a happier note, I went to buy eyebrow pencil already! ^^ But now i'm considering... Do i prefer to look like my eyebrows had obviously been drawn on, or gay? Decisions, decisions...

Okay, im getting a bit lack-of-words-to-say. But you know, i just wonder who are these people, someone whom i may one day get to know, or something.
